Operations

Human-led

Managed by people, not a plugin

Sourcing decisions are judgement calls: whether a factory can hold a finish, whether a lead time is realistic, whether a price is too good to be true. Those calls are made by people who read your brief.

  • Roles are shown here rather than names — you will be introduced to your contact directly when your enquiry is opened.
  • Every brief has one owner at the desk, so nothing is re-explained to a new person halfway through.

The process

Six steps from brief to delivery

No stage commits you to buying. The first four cost you nothing but the time it takes to write the brief.

  1. 01

    You send a brief

Use the quote form to describe the product, the quantity, the specification and where it needs to land. Nothing is charged and nothing is ordered at this stage.

  2. 02

    We review and clarify

We read the brief, ask the questions that decide whether it is sourceable, and tell you plainly if it is not something we will handle.

  3. 03

    We source

We work our supplier network and the open market for candidates that can meet the specification at your volume.

  4. 04

    You receive a shortlist

A short comparable list with capability, lead time, minimum order and the trade-offs written out — no pressure to proceed.

  5. 05

    Samples and quality brief

Where it makes sense we coordinate samples and write the inspection brief, so the standard is agreed before production starts.

  6. 06

    The supplier delivers

You contract and pay on terms you have seen. The supplier ships the goods to your delivery point, and we coordinate the handover.

Why this desk

Deliberately unglamorous commitments

We publish no counters, no client logos and no results claims. What follows is what we can actually promise about the way we work.

  • A desk, not a storefront

There is no cart and no catalogue here. Every engagement begins with a brief and a conversation, which is why you will not find public prices on this site.

  • One named contact

Enquiries are handled personally rather than passed around a queue. You deal with the same contact from brief to delivery coordination.

  • Written before agreed

Specifications, shortlists and quality briefs are put in writing. If something is not written down, it is not agreed.

  • Honest refusals

We tell you when a request is not sourceable, not viable at your volume, or outside what we will handle. That answer costs you nothing.

Illustrative only

Four example scenarios

These are written examples of how a brief moves through the desk. They are not case studies, not client work and not results claims.

Example scenario

A retailer needs 500 units of a homeware line

A brief arrives with dimensions, material preference and a target landed window. We shortlist three capable suppliers, note that one cannot hold the finish at that volume, and coordinate samples from the remaining two.

Example scenario

A hospitality operator is replacing table linen

The brief covers fabric weight, wash cycles and colour. We write the quality brief around shrinkage and colour-fastness so the supplier is quoting against a testable standard, not a photograph.

Example scenario

A brand wants private-label packaging

Artwork and structural requirements are collected first. Where the requested run is below a viable factory minimum, we say so early and set out what volume would make it work.

Example scenario

A buyer asks for a branded lookalike product

We decline. Counterfeit and infringing goods sit outside what this desk will source, and we say that at the brief stage rather than after time has been spent.

Start with a brief

Send us what you need. We will tell you honestly whether we can source it.

A request is an enquiry, not an order. Nothing is reserved and nothing is charged.
